Distant Worlds Universe Races
Distant Worlds Universe The universe featured in the 2010 Code Force game ' Distant Worlds ' which was published by Matrix Games. The game received an expansion (Return of the Shakturi) the same year and two more expansion (Legends and Shadows) in 2011, and 2013 respectively. Quameno is the easiest race, imo. Their stacked research bonus (40% racial and 50% Technocracy) and the fact they have a preset scientist with ultra creative at start and awesome bonuses to all 3 research branches means that you can get exploring and grabbing valuable stuff much, much sooner than anyone else even on higher difficulties. But they start at lava worlds which can be painfull sometimes due to lack of resources. The 'stances' of the races determine how the race behaves when AI plays it but as was said it also determines your research and victory conditions so it usually forces you to play the same way as the race is described which is a good thing in my opinion.
